Chris Randall has been given the green light to return to full-time training with the Titans playing group after a slight hamstring strain ruled the dummy-half out of the club's recent trials.
Passing through all his rehab markers successfully, the 27-year-old will be available for Round 1 selection; although Justin Holbrook has suggested the new recruit will return via the Hostplus Cup to gain match fitness before a potential club debut with the Gold Coast.
In other injury news, Ben Liyou had a successful ACL reconstruction earlier this month after rupturing it during the pre-season.
The 22-year-old was will join the top 30 squad in 2024, but was due to spend the season training with the club whilst playing in the Hostplus Cup ahead of his upgrade.
He will remain at Parkwood to help with his recovery, with his initial stages of rehabilitation to reduce swelling and work on range of movement.
Helping him with his return will be Aaron Booth who is also coming back from a similar injury sustained late last season. The talented No. 9 has begun Alter-G running, pulling up well and will look to be introduced to field running in the next fortnight.
The remainder of the squad is fit and healthy and ready for the season opener this weekend.
