AJ Brimson names his favourite stadium to play footy at

AJ Brimson has named his favourite stadium to play at in the NRL and, no surprises, it's his home field Cbus Super Stadium.

In an interview with former Broncos and Warriors player Denan Kemp on the 'Bloke in a bar' podcast, AJ spoke about what playing in front of Titans fans means to him and why Cbus Super Stadium is his favourite in the country.

"I love playing at Cbus," the Titans star said.

"We don't have the biggest crowds in the NRL, but I love playing at Cbus and it's a good feeling scoring in front of your fans.

"It's a great stadium, great field and we've got good fans!"

A crowd favourite, AJ has given Gold Coast fans plenty to cheer about since making his debut in the NRL.

AJ's first game at Cbus Super Stadium came in his second NRL match against the Newcastle Knights in Round 11, 2018.

Playing five-eight in the match, AJ steered the Titans to a 33-26 victory in the match and even scored the victory-sealing try in the 74th minute.

Titans v Knights, Round 11 2018 Match Highlights

Returning to Cbus Super Stadium in Round 3 to face the Melbourne Storm, AJ is excited to play in front of Titans fans once more.

"It's not like it's 50,000 at Suncorp, but, for me, to score in front of your own crowd and knowing they're going to go off - it's good."

Already tracking to be one of the Titans' biggest games of the season, tickets are selling fast for the Gold Coast's first taste of NRL for 2023.

The first home game for newcomers Sam Verrills, Aaron Schoupp, Joe Stimson and Kieran Foran, Titans Members and fans are eager to see the new look squad light up Cbus Super Stadium after a strong Round 1 performance.

See AJ Brimson in action at 2pm Saturday, March 18 when the Titans take on the Melbourne Storm at Cbus Super Stadium.
