AJ Brimson doesn't want it any other way to get the Titans back in the winner's circle this weekend.
An almighty challenge ahead at home against the indisputable power players of the NRL competition, the Titans No. 1 believes it's the best way forward to re-build confidence and get back on track in their quest to play finals footy after a disappointing 32-18 loss against the Dragons last Sunday.
A chance to strike another blow on Craig Bellamy's men while the iron is hot after the Storm's loss to the Bulldogs, Brimson knows the shot of positivity it will given the Gold Coast should they finish the 80 minutes with the two points.
"Honestly... I said to Justin after the game that I'm stoked we're versingĀ have the game on stage with us in Melbourne compared to a usual bottom eight team," he said.
"There's only one way to get some credibility and confidence back into our side and that's to beat Melbourne at home. All of sudden if we beat Melbourne, we're back up to being the team we want to be.
"I'm really looking forward to facing the Storm. I know they've got a couple of injuries similar to us but any time coming off a loss - especially Melbourne - is going to be hard but I think it's a really good challenge that we can set our sights on."

Despite getting away to a good start at Kogarah - contrary to week one's win against the Tigers - an error-riddled second half gave all the ascendancy to the home side which allowed them to go on with the game; something that will be addressed this week ahead of this weekend.
"I thought we actually started well, better than the week before but then there was just that 10 minute period before half-time where they got that roll on," Brimson said.
We were obviously disappointing with our defence, but we just couldn't stop the momentum and then that try right on half-time really gave them a leg up going to the second half and we started that the way we finished the first.
"Obviously we need to be better with stopping the opposition's momentum and stuff like that."
On a personal level, the 24-year-old was one of the bright sparks of the performance, finishing the 80 minutes with seven tackle breaks which notes his tally to 11 so far across the opening two matches.
Although, Brimson feels he could be doing more as he eyes playing his best year of footy to date in Titans colours.
"I think I can still get more involved... I think I probably had about 14 carries looking at the stats, but I want to try get up there to near 20 just to help the boys more," he said.
"I'm still finding my feet with my fitness back at fullback, but I'm enjoying it and I think I'm still building. I do feel as comfortable as I've ever felt at fullback.
"I'm really looking forward to playing more footy... I don't feel like I'm quite there yet, but I feel like I'm in for a big year."
