NRL 2023: Titans, Round 7 team: Experienced star returns for first Broncos derby

Kieran Foran will get his first taste of the Titans' biggest rivalry, returning from a calf injury for the Gold Coast's battle against the Broncos.

Recovering from a minor calf tear, the experienced playmaker will rejoin Tanah Boyd in the halves, replacing Toby Sexton who has succumbed to a fractured scaphoid sustained in his heroic Easter Sunday performance against the Dragons.

His inclusion is the only change to the winning 17 from the weekend; although, there are a number of fresh faces on the extended bench with their intent to push into the final line-up come kick-off.

This includes Jojo Fifita who has overcome a medial knee strain to join new recruit Thomas Mikaele in the 22, with the former Keebra Park forward also hoping for his maiden Titans appearance in the big occasion.

Gold Coast captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui will also celebrate his 50th club appearance in the clash, in what is expected to be played in front of the biggest crowd at Cbus Super Stadium in years.

Kick-off is at 7.35pm Saturday, with tickets selling fast for the local derby.
