Round 8 team: Star flyer returns for historic Anzac Round clash

Jojo Fifita will be welcomed back from injury when the Titans make history, facing the Dolphins in their first official Telstra Premiership match.

One of three changes made by coach Justin Holbrook for the clash, the 20-year-old comes on the wing with Phil Sami moving to the centres and Aaron Schoupp out of the 22-man squad for the Sunday afternoon clash at Suncorp Stadium.

Another fresh face into the 17 is new recruit Thomas Mikaele, who will get his chance to make his club debut after a strong showing for Burleigh on Saturday, one week after arriving home to the Gold Coast from Warrington.

Meanwhile. Klese Haas has also been named off the bench to make his first appearance of 2023 after mounting his selection case with a stellar start in the Hostplus Cup for the Tweed Seagulls in the opening month of the competition.

AJ Brimson will be given every chance to prove his fitness for the encounter, named in the reserves after a hamstring injury sidelined the star in Round 4.

Not only a special round due to the new rivalry against the Dolphins, the club will also honour Corporal Cameron Baird VC, MG through a specially-designed jersey to commemorate the tenth year since his death whilst serving his country in Afghanistan.
