Locked in: Kini role revealed ahead of debut
Young gun Keano Kini is set to make his first NRL appearance via the interchange bench after Kieran Foran was passed fit to take on the Eels at Magic Round.
The only change made 24 hours out from kick-off, Kini will join the Titans 17 in place of Kruise Leeming who is expected to assume 18th man duties after earlier this week being named on the pine to make his fourth Gold Coast appearance.
Excited for his NRL debut, the schoolboy sensation has averaged 181 run metres - including three games making over 200 metres - as well as chiming in with four tackle busts, a try assist and a line break across his first six games for the Burleigh Bears, dominating the Hostplus Cup competition in his maiden season.
Taking on the Eels in front of a sell-out crowd at Suncorp for the encounter, the final team will be announced an hour before the Sunday night showdown kicks off.
