Burleigh, Tweed aiming to continue winning ways

The Titans NRL side may have a bye this upcoming weekend, but for the club's two affiliates, the footy continues.

Hoping to continue their recent success and bank a further two points as the Hostplus Cup competition hits the halfway mark, a number of Gold Coast contracted stars have been named to line-up for their respective clubs in the upcoming fixtures.

With a total of 10 full-time players in action on Saturday, Tweed will host the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the annual 'flockbuster'; with Treymain Spry, Toby Sexton and Oskar Bryant all lining up in the reserve grade competition at 2pm, following Ryan Foran's appearance in the Hastings Deering Colts clash at 12pm.

In Ipswich, the Bears will be hoping to down the Jets with Keano Kini, Tony Francis, Ken Maumalo, Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui and Jacob Alick aiming to extend Burleigh's unbeaten streak to six straight wins after an impressive 40-24 display against the Clydesdales at home. This will be after Seth Nikotemo runs out with the Colts at 1pm.

Kick-off is at 3pm at North Ipswich Reserve.
