Four Titans named in Queensland Origin side

The Gold Coast Titans will have four Queensland representatives in game II of the State of Origin after Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and David Fifita were joined by Moeaki Fotuaika and AJ Brimson in Billy Slater's squad announced this morning.

Fotuaika's form in 2023 has been among the best front rowers in the NRL and he was unlucky to miss game I, but on the back of injuries to Jai Arrow and Tom Gilbert, the 23-year old has banged down Slater's door.

Brimson will line up as 18th man come Wednesday-week and although the dynamic fullback has missed games through back to back hamstring injuries this year, his contribution in every game he has played has been immense.

This was highlighted by a try and try-assist performance in his side's victory over the Wests Tigers last Thursday night, where Brimson was involved in most of the good things the Titans did.

Fifita and Fa'asuamaleaui were among Queensland's best in game I and have rightly held their positions as Queensland look to lock up the series at Suncorp Stadium.
