NRL 2023: Titans, Round 22 team: Club record in sight for rookie of the year contender against Cowboys

Alofiana Khan-Pereira will be hoping to break the club's leading try-scorer record when he suits up in the Titans' Sunday afternoon showdown against North Queensland at Cbus Super Stadium.

Scoring 17 tries in as many appearances in his rookie season on the Gold Coast, the speed demon is only one away from notching up the most four-pointers in a year for the club - a feat he currently holds alongside David Fifita after the forward's dominant first campaign in 2021.

The 21-year-old will hope to become the outright successor of the milestone when he lines up on the wing against the Cowboys as his side aims to avenge their Round 4 loss to their upcoming opponents when they travelled to Townsville - a clash which saw both AJ Brimson and Kieran Foran injured in the opening 20 minutes.

Both playmakers will be back in Jim Lenihan's line-up for this Sunday's Women in League Round fixture, with the interim head coach making no personnel changes to the 17 that faced the Roosters at the weekend - the only difference being a positional switch with Joe Stimson back in the starting side and Klese Haas relegated to the interchange.

There is also a change on the extended bench with Aaron Schoupp being promoted to 18th man and Jacob Alick going back to the reserves, alongside Ken Maumalo, Kruise Leeming and Thomas Mikaele.

Kick-off is at 4.05pm on Sunday at Cbus Super Stadium.
