Gold Coast Airport (GCA) will help propel the Gold Coast Titans to new heights after coming on board as an official partner of the club's NRLW team for the next two seasons.
The two-year deal will also see GCA support the Titans' Leagueability program, an initiative designed to give people of all-abilities the opportunity to play, referee and coach modified games of rugby league.
Queensland Airports Limited CEO Amelia Evans said the new partnership highlighted Gold Coast Airport's focus on fostering inclusivity within the community.
“As a business, we are committed to promoting inclusivity and accessibility for all members of our communities – so this is a natural partnership,” Evans said.
“Supporting pathways for women in sport both on and off the field is something we have long been passionate about as an organisation.
"As global momentum for women's sports continues to grow, it is crucial for us to lend our support to local clubs that play a direct role in driving this.
“We hope the support of GCA helps to propel the NRLW Titans and the Leagueability program towards a successful season ahead.”
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said both organisations share a common value in promoting diversity and inclusion.
“Gold Coast Airport and the Titans have a joint commitment to our Gold Coast community to grow the game of rugby league for all, which is typified by our NRLW and Leagueability teams,” Mitchell said.
“Our partnership with Gold Coast Airport will take our NRLW and Leagueability teams to new heights, and we are looking forward to the success we will have this NRLW season, both on and off the field with Gold Coast Airport.”
As part of the sponsorship, the Gold Coast Airport logo will proudly adorn the Titans NRLW Titans' jerseys.
