NRL 2023: Titans, Locked in: Randall celebrates half century as Titans prepare for Storm star's return

Versatile forward Chris Randall will celebrate his 50th NRL appearance when the Titans meet the Storm in Melbourne this Saturday afternoon.

Joining the Gold Coast in the pre-season, the 27-year-old has played all but two games for his new club in 2023, having proven to be an ultra utility across the entire forward pack, not just playing predominately at dummy-half but also filling roles in the front row, second row and lock positions across the year.

He will wear the No. 9 jersey much like he did when the Titans last faced the purple army in Round 3, helping notch up a 38-34 victory against the competition heavyweights at the start of the season.

The visitors remain unchanged for their task to takedown Melbourne again, but this time at AAMI Park - something that hasn't been achieved since Round 5, 2014 - and will be anticipating to face the returning Ryan Papenhuyzen, who remains in the Storm's 19-man squad ahead of game day.

The three members who have been cut from the Titans extended squad - Tony Francis, Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui and Josiah Pahulu - are all expected to be made available for Burleigh in their qualifying final clash against the Capras on Saturday.

Kick-off to Round 26 is at 3pm on Saturday, live on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
