Evania Pelite isn't worried about the opposition.
The Titans fullback knows that her NRLW side needs to get their own game in order before they get carried away worrying about their opponents.
The Titans sit in third spot on the ladder after seven rounds and are eyeing off a finals appearance.
On Sunday the club hosts the Parramatta Eels at Cbus Super Stadium, but Petite says despite having a 5-2 record over the first seven rounds, the Titans are still chasing a complete performance.
"Our mentality is just on ourselves," she said.
"We know we haven't quite hit our straps and we've had really slow starts so we are just trying to put a full 70 minute performance together this weekend.
"Our main focus areas have been our lack of discipline and lack of completions, so we've put a emphasis on those two things.
"We've had really slow starts and gave away early penalties last week so we are trying to get that out of our game."
The Titans wins have come in nail-biting fashion, with last weekend's result against the Tigers (12 points) the biggest margin of the year, with three games decided by less than 2 points.
Pelite says while it's been important to bank the wins, the side needs to make sure they're putting in more complete performances if they're to challenge for the NRLW title in 2023.
"You definitely don't want to be the team that saves it until the last minute," she said.
"The fact that we know we have that resilient attitude ... we won't let teams thing they've got it over us until the final whistle blows."
While the attack builds, Pelite says she has been impressed with the Titans defensive performances.
"The girls have worked hard on that all season long, it has been a key focus for us and especially by Boothy (Aaron Booth) and him coming from the NRL side as well.
"He's been huge for us, he's built a good rapport with the girls but he is fresh out of the game and brings fresh eyes so it's been nice to see him take on that challenge."
Pelite's own game is thriving, with the 28-year-old having now established herself as one of the competition's biggest threats.
"I've played a little bit more at fullback now and I've had conversations with the coaching staff around what is going to suit me," she said.
"I'm not like other fullbacks in the game, my point of difference at the back is my strength with my power and line breaking ability.
"We've been able to put me in positions where that has paid off for me."
The Titans will be hoping that line breaking ability will again be on show in round eight of the NRLW competition at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
