Late mail: Finals scenario explained as Titans get ready to roll Raiders

The Titans will remain unchanged for their final regular season clash against the Raiders in Canberra with the side chasing their sixth win of the season to notch their second finals berth in three seasons.

In what will be Jess Elliston's 25th NRLW appearance - having played every Gold Coast game since the team's inception - the milestone will be celebrated alongside five other players who have also reached this feat as announced by coach Karyn Murphy earlier this week.

In further positive news, experienced playmaker Taliah Fuimaono returns as a reserve, set to wear the 18th player vest as a more than handy replacement should she be brought into the game.

A victory in the nation's capital will secure the Titans third spot, and whilst second spot is still mathematically possible, it will be highly unlikely given the need for victory by 150 points.

Should the Raiders triumph, the Gold Coast can afford to lose by 11 points or less to remain in the top four; but if Canberra wins by 12 or more, the Titans will miss out on finals with a fifth-placed finish.

Kick-off is at 3.15pm; live on Channel 9, 9 Now, Fox League and Kayo Sports.
