Titans captain, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, was enormous in the cyan and yellow again this season.
Building on his first season as captain in 2022, the 23 year old produced numbers this year that put him in the upper echelon of NRL props, culminating in his selection for both the Maroons and Mal Meninga's Australian side in 2023.
Known for his spirited defense and ability to break a game open with his unrelenting work ethic, the young prop continues to refine his craft and lead from the front for his team.
The craziest prospect? The stats show he keeps getting better, proving the best is yet to come (a thought that should send shivers down opposition sides).
These are the stats behind Tino's season for the Titans, and how they compare to his previous years.
Quick stats
- 19 games
- 6 tries
- 3208 running metres
- 1218 post contact metres
- 52 tackle breaks

Averaging 168 metres per game, Fa'asuamaleaui beat his previous best seasonal average set in '22 by 8 metres a game.
He also averaged an exhausting 16 hit ups per game, and ran for over 200 metres in three of the final four rounds.
Compared to the rest of the competition, only two other forwards ran for more metres per game and both played finals football (Payne Haas and Addin Fonua-Blake).
