MyPayNow has re-committed to the Titans long-term with the Gold Coast-based firm continuing their support for the club through to the end of the 2025 season.
The extension will see the partnership reach five seasons at the end of the new term, showcasing their longstanding commitment to the club and local community.
The real time wages fintech has supported the Titans’ NRL, NRLW and Netball programs since 2021; the last two seasons as the club’s principal partner and most recently featuring on the front of jersey for the Gold Coast’s first grand final in the NRLW.
MyPayNow CEO Bronson Powe says the partnership has elevated his brand from South East Queensland to a national audience.
“We are big supporters of the Titans, and we are here for the long term for the success that we’re confident the club is building,” Powe said.
“When we first partnered with the club in 2021, our brand was first hitting the market.
“The alignment and specifically the principal partnership inclusive of the front of jersey branding has taken our new brand to millions of people across Australia.
“As we enter the next phase of our journey as a business, we’ve transitioned from our initial focus around solely driving awareness of our brand, and now it’s about building on our long-term partnership as our business continues to grow.”
MyPayNow will now move to become a premier partner for the 2024 season.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell says the two brands continue to be aligned and it’s exciting to have MyPayNow commit long-term.
“What started as a partnership between two brands has really developed into something of real value for both of us,” Mitchell said.
“In sport, we talk about the importance of locking in key players long term to ensure you can build your roster for success. It’s no different when it comes to your commercial partners.
“When you work with a business that has likeminded values and has a genuine passion for the club and community, it’s important that we work to keep those sorts of people with our club for a long time.
“We’re thrilled we’ve been able to play a part in the growth of the MyPayNow brand over their formative years and we’re excited to continue to work with Bronson and his team over the coming seasons.”
The Titans will announce their new principal partner on Friday.
