When the Titans were in desperate need of a saviour, Lauren Brown always answered the call.
Fighting fires away from the game, she brought her cool as ice attitude to the field as well, creating NRLW history as the first player to kick two or more field goals in a season.
The playmaker's one-point miracles both led to nail-biting victories against the Broncos and Dragons that were crucial to reaching the season finale.
Final second salvation
Loz’s first drop goal of 2023 was in the second round epic derby battle against the Broncos, which saw the clash tied at 16-16 after the final regular-time whistle.
Consequently, the two Queensland NRLW heavyweights continued the wrestle into golden-point; and just one minute into the second stint of extra-time, the 28-year-old was in prime position on the 20-metre line, slotting it over the posts to claim a hard-fought victory against their state rivals.

In Round 6, it was rinse and repeat for the star half.
The Dragons made a late comeback on their home turf, with their fullback Teagan Berry scoring her fourth try of the match with minutes to go. Tied up at 22-22 in the final moments, Brown knew all too well what she had to do... but this time, from 30 metres out.
The rest is history as they say.
