There are 63 national heritages represented across the 2024 NRL playing group, with 24 different cultural heritages represented at the Titans.
Gold Coast coach Des Hasler commissioned a masterpiece in the Titans gym to celebrate the vast number of cultures the club proudly boasts upon his tenure.
At 6.8 metres wide and 4.1 metres high, the new mural features the word welcome in 24 different languages and has become a popular installation at the Titans high performance centre.
This includes nine First Nations and Torres Strait cultures as well as representation from Pasifika, Papua New Guinean, Irish and Pakistani nations.
At the end of the game, both clubs will participate in a harmony lap of the field of play. The initiative, which has previously occurred in last year's inaugural Multicultural Round, signifies bringing together people from all walks of life around the principals of fairness, harmony and respect.
Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is proud of the Gold Coast's inclusion in this weekend's powerful initiative.
"I think it’s very important. There’s a lot of cultures in our game," he said when speaking on the round in 2023.
"Obviously I’m a proud Samoan and Aussie fella and it’s great to see everyone represent their culture and their backgrounds."
