The Titans are ready for a physical and fiery clash against the Bulldogs this weekend, motivated to bounce back from a disappointing Round 1 game against the Dragons.
Titans winger Phil Sami is eager to showcase the hard-work the team has put into the pre-season and show Titans fans what they have been working on.
Acknowledging the errors shown in Round 1, the 109-gamer identified the most important areas for improvement for the team ahead of this week’s game.
"[We need to] stay in the grind, complete our sets, and not give away cheap possession…it’ll be a good game this week," he said.
"Obviously it was just one game (against the Dragons), and it was Round 1, so obviously we don' really want to put our head down too much.
"The good thing about footy is you always have next week to improve and show Titans fans what we've been working on in the pre-season.
"We just need to back it up this week and make sure to play a good game of footy to ensure we don't have back-to-back bad games."

Despite the bye in Round 2, Sami has been keeping a close eye on the competition, impressed with what Canterbury-Bankstown have shown despite back-to-back losses to start their season.
“I think they’re going to come out pretty fiery... obviously they've lost their two games but I've watched them and they've looked pretty good despite losing both games," he said.
"It is going to be a hectic game at Belmore, so we’re going to have to be up for it and make sure were up for the physical side of it as well."
With 282-game star Kieran Foran set to make his return to the field this week, Sami and the team are welcoming back the on-field leadership from the veteran.
“It’ll be good to have Foz back this week, he’s definitely an old head that we need around in our team,” he said.
“He’ll be leading us around the park and it’ll be good to have him back, especially with his chat as well.”
