Titans dynamo Jayden Campbell is set to make his long-awaited return from injury via the Hostplus Cup this weekend.
As confirmed by the Tweed Seagulls at their captain's run, the 24-year-old will line up in the No. 1 jersey against cross-town rivals Burleigh, six months after dislocating his patella in action for the Gold Coast in August last year.
Last playing Cup in 2022, the outing is set to get Campbell one step closer to the NRL with a return to the Titans imminent should he get through the match fit and healthy.
He is one of six Gold Coast players to feature for the Seagulls in the clash; alongside teammates Tony Francis, Tom Weaver, Jacob Alick, Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui and Oskar Bryant.
Kick-off is at 6pm AEST on Saturday at Piggabeen Sports Complex.
