Late mail: Titans remain unchanged for Belmore quest
The Titans will be as per program for their Round 3 clash against the Bulldogs at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Making only one change to the 17 that faced the Dragons in the season opener, veteran playmaker Kieran Foran returns from a minor hamstring injury to face his former side who he played six seasons with, replacing Tom Weaver in the halves.
Titans coach Des Hasler has also confirmed Jaimin Jolliffe will start at lock, pushing Isaac Liu to the bench. Harley Smith-Shields has been named 18th man.
Visiting the traditional home ground of Canterbury, Belmore is a ‘fortress’ for the Gold Coast – notching up a 32-10 win in their only visit to the venue in Round 15, 2018.
That clash featured three current Titans who will line-up in this weekend's Round 3 matchup; including AJ Brimson, Phil Sami and Moeaki Fotuaika - the trio joining Foran and Keenan Palasia as players with experience at the venue which will be a cultural extravaganza as part of the NRL's weekend of celebrations for Multicultural Round.
Kick-off is at 3pm AEDT (2pm AEST) live on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
