NRL 2024: Titans, Late mail: Liu promoted in return as Titans shuffle forward pack

David Fifita will start from the bench in a forward pack reshuffle made by Titans coach Des Hasler ahead of Sunday night's showdown against the Raiders in Canberra.

Opting to use the dynamic powerhouse as an X-factor off the bench, Klese Haas will shift into the vacant backrow spot with milestone man Isaac Liu to begin his 50th Titans appearance at lock upon returning from mandatory concussion protocols.

The remainder of the side remains as per program with the Gold Coast to feature a new-look spine featuring AJ Brimson and Kieran Foran - the latter and Jayden Campbell both passing their fitness tests at the team’s captain’s run after initially showing injury concerns from last week’s clash in Townsville.

In the other changes confirmed on Saturday, Alofiana Khan-Pereira has been recalled after missing last week's trip to North Queensland, pushing Harley Smith-Shields into the centres to face his former club after debuting for the Coast last Sunday.

Tony Francis is the replacement player for the Canberra crusade.
