Affiliate wrap: Forwards eyeing Fotuaika fill-in

Moe Fotuaika's return to the Origin arena for Game II has opened up a spot in Des Hasler's pack this weekend against the New Zealand Warriors and a few Titans put their hand up in the Hostplus Cup over the weekend.

The Titans affiliate sides both went down in Round 14 of Queensland's premier competition with the Tweed Seagulls falling to the Norths Devils 42-10, while the Ipswich Jets went down to Mackay Cutters 30-16 up north.

For the Jets, Arama Hau performed strongly with seven tackle breaks, a line break and try in his 80 minutes.

Hau re-joined the Titans this season after coming through junior ranks before a stint in the UK.

A versatile forward adept in the second row and through the middle of the field, Hau has impressed for the Jets in a tough season for the Ipswich side to date.

For the Seagulls, Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui has performed strongly over recent weeks as he returns to full fitness and pushes for a NRL return.

The younger brother of injured Titans captain, Tino, has played 13 NRL games but is yet to register a first grade game in 2024.

The hard working front rower stands at 191 centimetres and 110 kilograms and would bring additional size to the Titans pack should he get picked.
