The Titans are proud to announce a landmark deal with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles for the 2024 NRLW season.
In a historic first, the two clubs will join forces in an arrangement which will see the opportunity for players from Gold Coast’s female program play in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership each week.
Previously having no option for squad members to play in a reserve grade competition if not selected for NRLW, the new deal will see several players line-up for Manly-Warringah each week in a bid to be recalled to the top squad.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell is excited to join forces with the Sea Eagles in an agreement that has a myriad of benefits for both clubs.
"As the standard of the NRLW continues to lift, we want to continue providing high performance support and opportunities to our players," he said.
"Currently, the NRLW season sits outside the BMD competition and consequently, players not named to play for the Titans each round can potentially go weeks without game time.
"This opportunity is the first of its kind in Queensland and provides all members of our roster the chance to play regular football – much like for other NRLW teams located south of the border.
"It also gives the opportunity for the Sea Eagles to play alongside Titans NRLW contracted players and be boosted by the quality and experience those players bring to the squad.
"We are excited by our new relationship with the Sea Eagles and can’t wait to begin the new player agreement when the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership kicks off at the start of next month."

"We are very excited about our inaugural season in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership and this deal with the Titans will only strengthen our already formidable squad.
"Our players here will also benefit from the experience of the Titans players.
"It is a very exciting time for women's rugby league at the Sea Eagles as we move closer to forming our own NRLW team in the near future."
