Round 18 team: Brimson returns in key position to net Sharks in Coffs

AJ Brimson will return from a groin injury that has kept him sidelined since Round 10 in a major boost for the Titans against the Sharks on Friday night.

In one of two changes made by coach Des Hasler for their clash in Coffs Harbour, the Queensland Origin hopeful will fill the vacant No. 6 jersey left by Jayden Campbell who will miss the clash having played with a metacarpal fracture for a majority of the Gold Coast's record-breaking 66-6 win against the Warriors.

Jojo Fifita also returns after missing Round 16 with illness (flu); pushing Phil Sami back to the centres and Beau Fermor to second row. Moeaki Fotuaika will also come back following his Maroons duties.

Jacob Alick-Wiencke and Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui move to the extended bench, with the remainder of the side unchanged after the side's third and final bye last weekend.

The Titans will be chasing their first win in the Mid North Coast in their third clash against Cronulla at the venue, hoping to break a nine-game losing streak against the Sharks.

Kick-off is at 6pm on Friday at C.ex Coffs International Stadium, Coffs Harbour.
