Late mail: Origin contender to take centre stage in Coffs

Beau Fermor will move to the centres for the fourth time this season with Titans coach Des Hasler confirming the shift ahead of Friday night's Sharks battle in Coffs Harbour.

The versatile Queensland Origin smokey swaps with Jacob Alick-Wiencke who is a late inclusion to the 17 to cover the loss of Phil Sami to a calf strain on Thursday.

Tanah Boyd also makes his return since dislocating his wrist in Round 9, coming in to fill the vacant five-eighth role alongside Kieran Foran after AJ Brimson was also a late omission - given an extra week of preparation to come back from a groin injury.

The remainder of the side remains as per program, with the visitors aiming to snap a nine-game losing streak against Cronulla and notch their first win in the Mid North Coast in their third visit to Coffs Harbour.

All eyes will be on David Fifita as he pushes for a Maroons recall, expecting to be firmly on Billy Slater's radar for Game III - the barnstorming backrower features in this week's TopSport Titanic special, now only one try away from notching a half century of four-pointers.
