Injury update: Brimson among Titans eyeing Cbus return on Saturday

Off the back of two strong on-field results, there is also some positive news coming out of the rehab group with a host of Titans progressing well on their way back from injury.

AJ Brimson headlines this list, with the Titans strike weapon a good chance of lining up against Parramatta on Saturday night.

Named at five-eighth for last week's win against the Sharks, Brimson was a late-week withdrawal as medicos continue to manage his return from a groin injury.

Provided he pulls up well after training on Thursday, expect Brimson to be back in Titans colours at Cbus Super Stadium this weekend.

Klese Haas is another who is a chance of returning this week.

Klese Haas no trouble

The mobile forward missed the Titans wins against the Warriors and Sharks with a bruised heel, but will return to training and is a possible inclusion into Saturday's team.

Harley Smith-Shields had his first hit-out after returning from a long stint on the sidelines with a pec strain and got through unscathed for Ipswich in the Hostplus Cup.

Phil Sami has a minor calf injury and will continue to rehab this week, while Tony Francis is also progressing well.

Francis fines the line on debut

The young gun injured his shoulder in his debut game (a win against the Broncos in Round 12) but will integrate back into training this week as he recovers from his AC joint complaint.
