The career of one of rugby league’s modern gladiators will continue with Kieran Foran signing on to play another season with the Gold Coast Titans in 2025.
Next year will mark his 17th season in the NRL, with the New Zealand International’s extension to push him well beyond the 300-game milestone.
After debuting in 2009, the 33-year-old says he’s still enjoying playing at the top level and is excited for the 2025 season.
"We’ve got a great young group here at the Titans," Foran said.
"2025 will be the second year under Des’ (Hasler) coaching and I’m really keen to be involved in what we are building.
"Having been around the game for a long time, I know that we’ve got something good growing here on the Coast and I’m keen to play on into next season.
"My body is feeling good, and I feel like I’ve played some good football this season so far and while that’s the case, I’m keen to push on for another year.
"I’m grateful for the opportunity and I’m really enjoying my time on the Gold Coast, so it was a simple decision for me in the end."
Foran is on track to reach 300 NRL games in Round 24 this season, becoming the first player to do so whilst wearing a Titans jersey*.
Having also played for the Sea Eagles, Eels, Warriors and Bulldogs during his career; Foran is a former captain of the New Zealand Kiwis and tasted NRL premiership success alongside Hasler at Manly in 2011.
*Former Titans Scott Prince and Gavin Cooper also reached the 300-game milestone but achieved the feat at other clubs.
