Round 20 team: New No. 1 named as Foran aims to replicate Brookvale return

Kieran Foran will be aiming to replicate his 2023 heroics against his former team when the Titans travel to Brookvale to face the Sea Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

Having won in four of their last five visits to 4 Pines Park, the 295-game veteran will be eager to help continue the Coast's recent run of form when the 34-year-old faces the club he played 196 games for - one of three previous Manly representatives in action on Sunday.

Brian Kelly will also face his former side alongside coach Des Hasler, who makes his return to the Northern Beaches after 559 games as a player and coach from 1984-2023.

The now Titans mentor has made one change to the team that defeated the Eels last Saturday, with AJ Brimson named back on the extended bench with the club continuing to manage his rehab and return from a significant groin injury.

The star No. 1 was a late inclusion in Round 19 and got through 52 minutes in his first game back since Round 10 before being put back on ice in a planned interchange move.

Brimson will be monitored this week with a decision on his fitness to be made closer to game day; the same situation that Moeaki Fotuaika will be in when he returns from Origin duties after the Maroons face the Blues on Wednesday night.

Kick-off is at 4.05pm on Sunday at 4 Pines Park, Sydney.
