Titans Community Weekly Wrap

Your Gold Coast Titans have been out and about in the community this week.

Here are just some of the activities from the past week:

  • Shannon Mato and Jaime Chapman were down at Kyogle JRL Club last weekend, attending the annual Titans Challenge between Group 1 and Group 18. 
  • The Kinetic Titans Schools League has continued this week across Alabaster Fields, Carrara, Robina Raptors JRL and Bill Norris Oval, Beenleigh. 
  • Macca's Ambassador visits happened to junior rugby league clubs this week, with 14 NRL players visiting 11 JRL clubs across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers. 
  • Leagueability training was back at Cbus Super Stadium on Tuesday, with the Intellectual Disability Rugby League teams playing a game against each other. NRL players Tony Francis and Ryder Williams attended and assisted the 70 players across the Leagueability program, running through various drills and plays. 
  • Jaime Chapman and Taliah Fuimaono ran three different HPE classes at Coolangatta State School on Tuesday, finishing off the day with a game of touch football with the students on their lunch break.
  • NRLW players Malaela Sua, Rilee Jorgenson, Matekina Gray, Shannon Mato and Fuimaono hosted 90 Palm Beach Currumbin students at the Titans' High Performance Centre on Wednesday, giving the students a tour of the centre, and running them through a skills clinic.
  • Later in the day, Shannon Mato and Fuimaono were at Coomera Anglican College doing a coaching clinic with students. 
  • Jaime Chapman attended the NRL School to Work Careers Day on Friday, talking with students about her studies and life after school. 
  • Taliah Fuimaono attended the Oxenford State School U8's day on Friday, running students through drills and spending time with the young kids.
