NRLW 2024: Titans, Late mail: Hasler makes forward switch for M1 derby

Jaimin Jolliffe will break a 77-day hiatus when he returns for the Titans - promoted to the starting side for their Macca's Local Derby clash against the Broncos on Saturday afternoon.

Coming back from a pec injury that sidelined the hard-working prop since Magic Round, the 27-year-old will begin from the opening whistle with Titans coach Des Hasler confirming the change ahead of kick-off.

With Erin Clark moving back to the bench, the remainder of the side remains as per program from yesterday's change, which saw Keenan Palasia omitted from the 22-man squad to accommodate Jolliffe's return.

Hoping to go two from two against their M1 rivals in front of a sold-out home crowd, two impending milestones could also be reached in the clash - David Fifita scoring his 50th four-pointer and Alofiana Khan-Pereira breaking the Titans' most tries in a season record again - currently at 20 which he set in 2023.

Currently at 19, should he score another try in the derby, he'll become the first player since Johnny King in 1962 to have scored 40 tries in less than 40 appearances - an incredible 62-year feat.

Kick-off is at 3pm; live on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
