PBC claim term three title in HART Titans Netball Schools League

Palm Beach Currumbin State High School have claimed the term three installment of the HART Titans Netball Schools League.

PBC went through undefeated at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, defeating Marsden State High School 27 goals to 12 in the final of the Open Girls competition.

Helensvale State High School grabbed the Open Boys victory, fending off some strong competition in the grade which continues to grow in interest.

Helensvale defeated Bremer 17 goals to 7 to claim the title, with Canterbury College, Lindisfarne Anglican College and Loganlea State High also performing well throughout the day.

In the year 9/10 grade, it was Mabel Park State High School who claimed the the title, defeating PBC in the final.  Foxwell State High School finished third ahead of Marsden SHS, with Helensvale SHS fifth and Loganlea SHS sixth.

PBC made it a double, claiming the 7/8 title as well, beating Marsden State High School 22 goals to 9 in the final.

The year 7/8 division was the biggest on show, with 11 schools (PBC, Marsden, Bremer State High, Helensvale State High, Hillcrest Christian College, Foxwell State High, Mabel Park State High, Canterbury College, Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar, Loganlea State High and Tamborine Mountain State High) entering 27 teams in the age group.
