Injury report: Beau racing to be ready for Sunday

Titans backrower Beau Fermor remains a chance of a return for Sunday's clash against the Roosters at Cbus Super Stadium - the last home game of 2024.

Fermor sustained a bruised kidney in the Titans 46-18 win against the Broncos back in Round 22 and has missed the past two matches, but is set to face a fitness test this week in order to be a possible inclusion.

Harley Smith-Shields is another who is pushing to return to the field.

The outside back injured his pec in Round 10 and while in the rehab group picked up a hamstring complaint that has kept him on the sidelines.

The 24-year-old will look to add to his five games played in his first season on the Coast; meanwhile, Jaylan De Groot and Seth Nikotemo will both return for Ipswich Jets after passing HIA requirements.

In further good news, injured NRLW trio Sienna Lofipo, Niall Williams-Guthrie and Zara Canfield are close to returning to Karyn Murphy's 17 with the three given every opportunity to prove their fitness for this weekend's clash.
