Round 6 team: New No. 6 named as Titans prepare for history against Sharks

Titans young gun Sienna Lofipo will join Lauren Brown in the halves when Gold Coast host the Sharks at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday morning.

Replacing Taliah Fuimaono who will miss the next two matches after accepting a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle charge, the 19-year-old Origin representative will take on the position she made her NRLW debut at after returning from a PCL injury last week.

Lofipo's elevation sees Lily Kolc back on the bench as a versatile utility, with the remainder of the side as per program after their emphatic 26-6 against the Roosters at Robina last Sunday.

In a historic first for the Gold Coast, they'll wear the inaugural NRLW Indigenous jersey designed by Titans NRL player Alofiana Khan-Pereira's mother, Sylvia Khan - which was also worn by the club's NRL side in their Round 12 victory against the Broncos.

The jersey depicts the journey of young Titans making their way to first grade with the club and a specific focus on Khan-Pereira and Jaime Chapman's journeys, and is the first jersey to incorporate both NRL and NRLW players in the one design.
