Titans extend Ipswich Jets partnership to '26

The Gold Coast Titans and Ipswich Jets are excited to announce the renewal of their affiliate agreement, extending the partnership through to the 2026 season.

This two-year addition continues the successful collaboration between the two clubs, focused on talent development, player pathways, and shared resources.

The partnership has already delivered significant benefits, contributing to the success of both the Titans and the Jets at various points in the 2024 season.

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell expressed his enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership.

"We are thrilled to extend our affiliation with the Ipswich Jets," he said.

"This partnership has been instrumental in providing our players with the opportunity to continue playing topflight rugby league week in, week out; while allowing our younger cohort to gain valuable experience.

The Jets have been fantastic partners, and we look forward to continuing this relationship and building on our shared successes."

Jets CEO Richard Hughes also shared his excitement for the renewed agreement.

"The collaboration with the Titans has been incredibly beneficial for our club," he said.

"Not only has it provided our players with a clear pathway to the NRL, but has also strengthened our overall program on and off the field.

"We are excited to continue working closely with the Titans over the next two years to enhance our relationship further and build on the foundations we have created to achieve great things together."

The renewed agreement will focus on player pathways and NRL talent playing for the Jets, coaching exchanges, and community engagement, ensuring both clubs remain leaders in nurturing rugby league talent in Queensland.
