Round 27 team: Young gun to debut in Penrith as Titans prey on Panthers

Rookie forward Arama Hau is set to make his NRL debut when the Titans travel to Penrith to face the Panthers on Saturday night.

In one of two changes made by Des Hasler ahead of the final regular season game at Penrith Park before its redevelopment, the 20-year-old will make his maiden first grade appearance against the defending premiers after 19 games for the Ipswich Jets in 2024 - scoring seven tries in his first year of Hostplus Cup.

A Future Titans alumni and former Australian Schoolboy, the edge forward has been named on the bench; whilst Jacob Alick-Wiencke also joins the pine after both Phil Sami and David Fifita were sent for end of season ankle surgery.

Keano Kini is expected to return at fullback after missing last Sunday's clash due to a cork; meanwhile, Beau Fermor will remain in the centres, with Chris Randall and Klese Haas in the back-row.

The remainder of the side remains unchanged to last week's 17.

Kick-off is at 7.35pm on Saturday at Penrith Park.
