Round 9 team: NRLW legend returns in No. 1 jersey for career finale
Karina Brown is set to return from a calf injury for the final game of her career when the Titans face the Raiders in Sydney on Sunday.
Named in the No. 1 jersey in recognition of being NRLW Titan #1 ahead of her illustrious 14-year career coming to a close, the rugby league pioneer is set to comeback via the wing in one of two changes made by coach Karyn Murphy.
Dannii Perese comes in for Ngatokotoru Arakua who has accepted a two-game ban for a hip-drop tackle; whilst Taliah Fuimaono returns to the halves with Sienna Lofipo moving back to the bench, opening the door for young gun Sarina Masaga to line-up in the centres.
The remainder of the side remains unchanged with strike centre Jaime Chapman given every opportunity to prove her fitness after succumbing to a hamstring complaint in the 55th minute against the Knights.
Kick-off is at 1.30pm on Sunday at CommBank Stadium, Parramatta.
