Indigenous All Star extends to '27

The Titans have continued to strengthen their long-term NRLW roster with Shaylee Bent extending her time on the Gold Coast until 2027.

Since joining the club in 2023, the talented forward has solidified her position in Karyn Murphy's 17 having played in every game since her arrival to Parkwood.

Set to enter her sixth season in 2025 and approaching 40 NRLW appearances, the 24-year-old has enjoyed building a lethal left edge combination alongside close friend and fellow Sky Blues star Jaime Chapman but knows there's more work to be done.

"Going from a grand final last year to a tough 2024 season, there is a lot of unfinished business for us as a playing group and I'm eager to help bring the first premiership to the Gold Coast," Bent said.

"I love being here at the Titans and I’ve built really strong connections with the girls and with Murph over the past two seasons.

"I'm grateful to be locked in long-term here at the club and be part of an experienced forward pack that also includes the likes of Georgia Hale, Shannon Mato and Jess Elliston."

Away from the Titans, the back-rower boasts an impressive representative resumé that includes taking home silverware with the Jillaroos at the recent World Cup and scoring the opening try for the Indigenous All Stars in their 26-4 win over the Māori All Stars earlier this year.

Bent's impact also extends beyond the field with the fan favourite embracing a vital role in the community as a Deadly Choices ambassador - empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to make healthy choices for themselves and their families.
