Titanic stats: 24 in '24 for Randall and Verrills

In just their second year on the Coast, both Sam Verrills and Chris Randall have well and truly entrenched themselves as Titans.

The pair both played all 24 games across season 2024, with both having their best year to date in Titans colours.

Initially seen as fighting for the #9 jersey, the pair both managed to find key roles in Des Hasler's side across the season.

Randall was the more versatile, playing across hooker, five-eighth, lock and second row as he proved his value to the team in a number of roles.

Now at 74 career games, the 28-year-old also just penned a new deal that will see him remain on the Coast until the end of 2027.

After injury disrupted his first season on the Gold Coast, Sam Verrills finished 2024 as the club's starting hooker and had shown he'd put any concerns around his body well and truly behind him.

After starting the year on the bench (with Randall starting hooker), Verrills found his way back into the starting team by year end with his form improving each and every game.

Now up to 83 career games, Verrills is on track to reach the 100 NRL game milestone in the 2025 season.

Sam Verrills Try

The two were tackline machines, with Verrills topping the Titans tally with 872 for the season and Randall just behind with 846.

2024 marked the heaviest workload for both players, with 24 games the most either has played in an individual season to date.

Not only did they grow their games under coach Des Hasler, but they proved an incredibly valuable one-two punch for the Titans.

Both are fit and ready to fire in 2025, and will report back for pre-season ready for duty in November.
