Titans 2025 draw snapshot

Excitement is building on the Gold Coast following the release of the Titans' NRL and NRLW draws for the new year ahead, with a historic number of games to be played at Cbus Super Stadium in 2025.

As part of the expanded NRLW competition, the Titans will host five games including three NRL/NRLW double headers at Cbus Super Stadium - the most women's games on the Gold Coast in history.

Whilst the club's NRL side will be forced to wait an extra week to get going in Des Hasler's second year in charge due to a Round 1 bye, they have been dealt a favourable draw - playing last season's top four teams only once each and having a balanced mix of home and away games in the opening eight weeks.

They also finish strongly with five of their last six games in Queensland, including four at Robina as they aim to break their finals drought - last in the playoffs in 2021.

From a single game to the whole season and everything in between... there is a seat in the Legion fit for you!

Teams they play twice

Home and away fixtures await the Titans with all three of their Queensland rivals in a bid to retain the XXXX Derby Trophy against the Dolphins, Cowboys and Broncos; while they'll also take on the Warriors, Knights, Raiders, Bulldogs and Wests Tigers on two occasions.

Teams they play once

The Titans play last season's top four teams only once each in 2025 - drawing four-time premiers Penrith at Cbus Super Stadium and avoiding a trip to Melbourne, hosting the Storm in Round 13; although have to travel to Sydney to face the Roosters (Round 4) and Sharks (Round 24).

Hasler's men will also play the Bulldogs (A), Dragons (A), Sea Eagles (H) and Eels (A) once too.

The Gold Coast's NRLW side will continue to play every side once, including new teams Bulldogs and Warriors - hosting Broncos, Roosters, Dragons, Eels and Raiders at Cbus Super Stadium.

Turnaround time

NRL

  • 5 days: 1 game
  • 6 days: 8 games
  • 7+ days: 14 games

The Titans only have one five-day turnaround in 2025 with a trip to Newcastle after their Sunday afternoon Magic Round clash at Suncorp Stadium.

Their majority of weekend games see 14 fixtures with a 7+ day turnaround - including an extended break from the trials given the Round 1 bye - as well as a 13-day turnaround between games following their Round 12 bye and 14-day break for their Round 18 bye.

NRLW

  • 6 days: 3 games
  • 7+ days: 7 games

Gold Coast only have three six-day turnarounds; between Rounds 3 and 4 which is a trip to New Zealand, Round 6 and 7 when they head to Sharks Stadium and heading into the last round upon returning home from Newcastle.

Opening month

NRL

  • Round 1: BYE
  • Round 2: v Bulldogs (A)
  • Round 3: v Knights (H)
  • Round 4: v Roosters (A)

The Titans will get an extra week of preparation having the Round 1 bye, before hitting the road to Belmore to face the Bulldogs in Round 2. Getting their first game at Robina in Round 3 against the Knights, their start is consistent though with a pattern of away/home/away/home/away/home/away/home/away for the first 10 weeks of the season.

NRLW

  • Round 1: v Cowboys (A)
  • Round 2: v Broncos (H)
  • Round 3: v Wests Tigers (A)
  • Round 4: v Warriors (A)

The Titans begin their NRLW season against both Queensland teams, firstly with a trip to North Queensland to meet the Cowboys before hosting the highly-anticipated local derby clash against the Broncos at Cbus Super Stadium.

They'll then be on the road in Sydney to face the Wests Tigers before heading abroad to New Zealand to play the Warriors in their first season back in the NRLW.

State of Origin watch

A bye in Round 12 means the Titans won't be missing any talent from Origin I duties, with a home game against the Storm on the following Saturday helping any players backing-up from the Brisbane opener.

Round 15 against the Sea Eagles ahead of Game II will be affected however; although it's expected their opposition will be missing the respective Origin captains with Queensland skipper Daly Cherry-Evans and New South Wales leader Jake Trbojevic both Manly-Warringah representatives.

A Round 18 bye will alleviate any Origin III disruptions, with a Sunday night Round 19 game against the Broncos after the midweek clash in Sydney helping any Titans who will back-up get a few extra days' recovery.

Having beaten 'big brother' Brisbane in their past three starts, including an incredible 46-18 the last time the two teams met at Cbus Super Stadium, Round 19 is set to be an epic blockbuster with the first-ever double Macca's Local Derby between the two SEQ combatants.

Kicking off with the NRLW at 4pm, the Titans women will be seeking revenge after being humbled by the Broncos in their 2024 fixture, followed by the NRL who will be hoping to make it two from two after meeting at Suncorp Stadium in Round 14.
