Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is set to rejoin the main squad in the next fortnight as he begins the final stages of returning from his ACL injury.
Upon completing a two-week training camp with world-renowned sports reconditioning and athletic coach Bill Knowles, the Titans skipper has been progressing through a modified training program as part of his rehab plan, with full integration expected in mid-January.
His return will provide a great boost forĀ Gold Coast as preparations for 2025 ramp up, given Fa'asuamaleaui's absence for a majority of the 2024 season following his season-ending knee injury in Round 3.
In other injury news, Titans NRLW duo Shaylee Bent and Evania Pelite are progressing well after their respective off-season surgeries.
Bent went under the knife to fix a shoulder complaint she played through across the 2024 season; meanwhile, Pelite was forced to undergo surgery after picking up an ankle injury in the recent Pacific Championships playing for Samoa.
Rilee Jorgensen is also recovering well after surgery on a niggling back injury she sustained midway through the 2024 season.
