Samoan International Pauline Piliae-Rasabale has swapped the stripes for swords, joining the Titans in 2025.

Fresh from helping her home nation qualify for the 2026 Women's World Cup in the most recent Pacific Championships, the talented playmaker comes to the Gold Coast from the Wests Tigers where she played every game in their first two seasons of NRLW.

The 31-year-old boasts an impressive resume that not only includes rugby league but International rugby union experience with the Wallaroos, making seven appearances for Australia in 2022. Previous to this, she played state-level netball in New South Wales.

Linking up with several Samoan teammates such as Evania Pelite and Sienna Lofipo at the Titans, Piliae-Rasabale is also excited to be coached by fellow half Karyn Murphy.

"I'm really excited to be joining the club and playing under Murph," she said.

"I can't wait to learn so much off her and be a sponge, take everything in that she says and build a strong connection with her."

The Titans coach is thrilled to have the dual-code star join her squad with the level of experience the long-term semi-professional athlete brings.

"Pauline's leadership and composure will be a huge asset for our side and her versatility will be invaluable with her ability to play in several key positions - especially with such a strong kicking game," Murphy said.

"I'm really looking forward to her becoming a Titan this season."
