Late mail: Fifita to start; rookie joins bench in reshuffle
David Fifita has been promoted to the starting side with Des Hasler making a late reshuffle ahead of the Titans' derby against the Dolphins at Cbus Super Stadium.
The barnstorming back-rower will begin for the first time in 2025 with Beau Fermor shifting to the centres and Phil Sami to the wing in Jojo Fifita's absence (corked thigh); meanwhile, young gun Arama Hau comes on the bench in place of Jacob Alick-Wiencke who has moved to 18th man.
The 20-year-old rookie debuted in the final game of last season and has the ability to play in the middle or on the edge, offering Hasler plenty of versatility alongside Sean Mullany who makes his NRL debut after previous stints at the Warriors and Cowboys before joining the Titans in 2025.
The remainder of the side remains as per program, with Tom Weaver dropping off the team list.
Kick-off is at 4.30pm (AEST); live on Fox League and Kayo Sports.
