Fa'asuamaleaui sent to the bin

While it's a big omission for the Gold Coast side, Titans backrower Klese Haas says it is an opportunity for the other members of the pack to stand up.

"He's our captain for a reason," Haas said.

"I think he had something like 20 carries on the weekend.

"He's a big loss.

"I think everyone else has just got to step up and put their hand up."

After two wins against the Knights and Roosters, the Titans fell to the Dolphins 36 points to 10 at home last weekend.

Haas says the team is keen to recovery quickly from that result and return to better habits against the Dragons.

"We've just got to stick together, we've got a new week this week," he said.

"All of us boys know we are better than the performance we put out.

"We've got to get after this next one."

The Dragons have one win, three losses and a bye from the first five rounds and are coming off a tight loss against the Eels in round five.

Haas says his side knows what the Dragons are capable of, noting their win against the Storm just one round prior.

"They're a pretty gutsy team," he said.

"Coming off a loss like that I think they're going to be up for it."
